The Galaxy S23 Ultra sits at the top of the lineup and will be the company’s most premium smartphone offering for the year. The Galaxy S23 Ultra replaces the Galaxy S22 Ultra worldwide. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Price and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will take on the likes of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and other premium smartphones currently available or launching soon in India. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is available with 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 12GB + 1TB storage options. The device has a starting price of $1,199 (roughly Rs 98,000).
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be available for purchase in four colours — Phantom Black, Green, Lavender and Cream.
The highlight feature of this year’s S23 Ultra is its new 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor. It is a 1/1.3-inch sensor and has an f/1.7 aperture. The device’s quad-camera setup also includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120 degree field of view, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and an f/2.4 aperture, and another 10MP telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and an f/4.9 aperture. Except for the ultra-wide camera, all three rear camera sensors support optical image stabilisation (OIS). The Galaxy S23 Ultra can shoot up to 100x Space Zoom.

For selfies, there is a 12MP front camera sensor. The phone has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display for the front camera. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The LTPO panel can refresh between 1Hz and 120Hz. It also supports HDR10+ and has a layer of Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Like last year’s model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a dedicated slot for the S Pen, which is the company’s smart stylus for taking notes, performing Air Gestures for certain tasks, etc.
Under the hood, there is a customised version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy. The SoC is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, 10W wireless charging. It has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The device weighs 234 grams and measures 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9mm. Lastly, the phone boots Android 13 out of the box and has a layer of One UI 5.1 on top of Android.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra India price and sale date will be announced very soon. It will compete against the top of the line iPhone 14 Pro models in terms of pricing. The phone will also go head to head against the likes of the OnePlus 11 5G, Vivo X90 series, Xiaomi 13 Pro and other premium smartphones worldwide.
