
Samsung is expected to introduce the successor to the Galaxy S23 series in the form of the Galaxy S24 lineup next year. The key specifications of the Galaxy S24 series were leaked a couple of weeks back. The leak indicated that the S24 lineup will boast a 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and a 200MP camera. Another leak also revealed that the S24 series will even come with Exynos 2400 SoC. Now, in a recent development, some more information about the S24 lineup is disclosed courtesy of tipster Ice Universe.
According to the information shared by tipster Ice Universe on Twitter, Samsung is developing some AI technology for the Galaxy S24 series. Furthermore, the tipster also mentioned in the Twitter thread that the AI technology has nothing to do with Bixby. Currently, other details are not known as to how Samsung plans to integrate AI technology for the S24 series.

The past report indicates that Samsung has informed its employees in an internal memo to stop using generative AI tools like Bard and ChatGPT, citing reasons for security risk. Meanwhile, it was also reported earlier that Samsung has joined hands with Naver Corporation to develop AI chips and tools. The report published by a Korean publisher revealed that under the AI partnership, Samsung will provide data to Naver related to semiconductors in order to create generative AI which will then be further enhanced by Samsung.

It is reported that through this collaboration Samsung will secure an in-house AI tool that can improve the company’s productivity and prevent the potential leak of sensitive business secrets that could occur using platforms developed by other companies. Once the AI tool is developed it will be available in Korean and will be used by Samsung’s Device Solution (DS) division. Samsung and Naver are expected to launch the said AI tool in October. However, Samsung and Naver are yet to announce the development of the AI tool.
In a piece of related news, it was also reported earlier by Android Authority that Samsung is planning to integrate ChatGPT within the browser in some form. The integration of ChatGPT in the Samsung browser could be an experimental lab feature notes Android Authority. Currently, no more information is available as to how ChatGPT integration in the Samsung browser will help users.
