Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new A-series tablet. The company recently launched the Tab A7 Lite in India as its budget tablet offering under Rs 20,000. The Tab A7 Lite comes with a starting price tag of Rs 11,999. It offers a large 8.7-inch display and a 5100 mAh battery. Samsung is rumoured to be working on a slightly larger tablet under the A-series. The upcoming tablet, dubbed the Galaxy Tab A8 2021, will sport a larger 10.5-inch display. Samsung will also pack a beefy battery under the hood, according to 91Mobiles and tipster OnLeaks. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 2021 specs and design renders have leaked. The upcoming Samsung A-series tablet is expected to launch soon. The 91Mobiles report reveals that the tablet will have a rectangular form factor. It will come with a 10.5-inch TFT WUXGA (1920×1200) display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display has thick bezels on the left and right edges. Samsung will also offer the front camera on the right edge of the tablet, which when held horizontally, will become the top bezel.

Under the hood, the A8 2021 tablet will come with a Unisoc T618 processor. Samsung will launch the tablet in 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB storage options. There is no word on whether all variants of the tablet will launch in India.

On the back, the device will have a single 8MP rear camera. It will have a 5MP front camera as well for video calls. The report further reveals that Samsung will pack a 7,040 mAh battery, which could include fast charging support. It will launch in three colours – Grey, Gold and Silver.
