Soon after the global launch, the Galaxy Tab A8’s support page went live in India, hinting at an imminent launch. Now, we have more information on the launch of the Galaxy Tab A8 along with some of the confirmed specifications, thanks to the Amazon listing.

On Amazon, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has been listed as “coming soon”, which means we still don’t have the launch date. However, we expect the launch to happen in the next couple of weeks as the tablet is now officially on the e-commerce platform. On the Amazon listing, the company has revealed specifications like the display size, battery size, RAM, storage, and more. Let’s take a look at all the confirmed specs of the Galaxy Tab A8.

Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 houses a 10-5-inch TFT display with symmetric bezel all around. It has Full HD+ resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Further, in terms of design, the Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in three colour options 一 Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold. The tab measures just 6.9mm. Backing up the large display is a quad-speaker setup powered by Dolby Atmos audio.

The Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by an octa-core processor which is said to be the UniSoC T618 SoC, built on a 12nm process and comes coupled with Mali G52 GPU. The tablet will be available in three configurations: 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB, and 4GB+128GB. On the inside, the device will pack a big 7,040mAh battery with support for a 15W fast charge. Other features include Samsung TV Plus, built-in screen recorder, Samsung Kids, multi-window support, and Samsung Knox security. As for the pricing, the tab starts at €229 which is roughly Rs 19,700.
