Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and the Galaxy Tab S7 FE earlier this year in India. The company is working on the next generation of Samsung tablets that could launch in the coming weeks. One of the upcoming Samsung tablets that could launch soon is the Galaxy Tab A8. The Galaxy tablet has visited a bunch of certification websites in the past. It has now been spotted on the WiFi Alliance website. Currently, there is no official word on the launch date of the Samsung tablet. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) specifications, features, and other leaked details.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) WiFi Alliance
Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) launch is imminent. After visiting Geekbench, the tablet has been spotted on the WiFi Alliance certification website. It reveals the model number of the Samsung tablet, which is SM-X205. The certification website also confirms the device’s moniker and WiFi frequency bands. The Tab A8 will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi.
As we mentioned above, the tablet was also spotted on Geekbench. It confirmed that the device will pack a Unisoc T618 chip under the hood with at least 3GB of RAM. The Samsung tab will run Android 11 out of the box with a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top.
Other details of the device have also leaked. The design renders leaked last month suggest that it will sport a 10.5-inch TFT display with a WUXGA resolution (1920×1200 pixels). The screen will support a 60Hz refresh rate and have fairly thick bezels around it. The 5MP front camera is located on the right edge when held vertically.
The RAM and storage options of the tab have also leaked. It will launch in at least three variants – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. On the back, the phone has an 8MP camera with an LED flash. It will pack a 7,040 mAh battery and come in Gold, Grey and Silver colours.
