Samsung has introduced a new rugged tablet known as Galaxy Tab Active 3. The latest tablet is targeted at the B2B segment and comes with a rugged design language. The table features MIL-STD-810H certification along with support for S Pen. Other features include 8.0-inch screen, 4GB RAM, 5050mAh replaceable battery, and more. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 price is EUR 477, which roughly translates to INR 40,900. The tablet comes in Black colour option and will be available in select European and Asian countries.

The rugged tablet features an 8.0-inch WXGA display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9810 processor and in terms of graphics, you get Mali G72MP18 GPU. It supports 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using microSD card slot.
The tablet features MIL-STD-810H certification making it withstand extreme conditions. It is also IP68 rated making it water and dust resistant. The tablet also supports S Pen, which is IP68 rated.
In terms of optics, you get 13MP rear camera with LED flash, while for the front, there is a 5MP selfie shooter. The tablet is optimized for camera-based barcode scanning to help retailers easily manage inventory and scan products for purchase. It also supports NFC with EMV Level 1 for payment.
