Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro was expected to be launched back in July along with the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro rugged smartphone. However, the company only launched the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro is yet to be unveiled. With all the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 action happening in the last few weeks, maybe Samsung had to hold the launch of the upcoming rugged tablet.

We have now spotted the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro on Bluetooth SIG, Google Play List, and Google Play Console. The listings on these sites also give us details of the upcoming tablet like the SoC, RAM, display resolution, Bluetooth version, and much more. Let’s take a look at the details.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro: Expected Specifications

On the Google Play supported list, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has been spotted with SM-T636B model number, which also confirms the tab’s moniker as “Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro 5G” 一 this means the tablet will come with support for SIM and there might be a Wi-Fi only variant as well. Next, the device has been posted on the Bluetooth SIG database with SM-T636B, SM-T638 and SM-T636N model numbers 一 these could be 5G and Wi-Fi versions. The tablet will come with support for Bluetooth 5.2.

Further, on the Google Play Console, the rugged tablet has been listed with SM-T638B. The website does confirm this to be the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro 5G. Based on this listing, the upcoming Samsung tablet will be powered by Qualcomm SM7325 SoC, which is the Snapdragon 778G with four cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The device will have been listed with 4GB of RAM. This SoC will be paired with Adreno 642L GPU.

Further, the Tab Active 4 Pro will come with support for a Full HD resolution measuring 1200 x 1920 pixels. The device will run on Android 12L, which is a tablet-specific OS designed by Google. The tab is expected to launch soon.
