Samsung sells a trimmed-down version of the Galaxy Tab S6, known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, and it has been out in the global markets for some time now. However, it did not make its way to India due to the strict lockdown being imposed by the government to handle the COVID-19 crisis. Now Samsung India’s official Twitter handle has tweeted that the Tab S6 Lite is coming soon to the country. To recall, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was first released only for the Indonesian market back in April.

Under the hood, the tablet will run on the Exynos 9611 SoC which is supported by up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of battery, the Tab S6 Lite happens to have the same 7,000mAh battery that can be seen on the flagship Tab S6. Software-wise the Tab S6 Lite will be expected to run on the OneUI 2.0 which is based on Android 10.

The tablet will have support for the S-pen stylus just like the Tab S6. In terms of optics, the Tab S6 Lite has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
