Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite New Models Appear on Multiple Certification Websites, Confirming Existence

Samsung is one of the leading Android tablets globally, the company recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series. The S8 series consists of the vanilla Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. Now, in an interesting finding, a new model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification. Not only that, with the same model number this tablet has been spotted on the Geekbench database as well as the company’s support page on the France website.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was launched way back in April 2020. Later in 2020, while the company did launch the Tab S7 series, Samsung did not launch the successor to the Tab S6 Lite, the S7 Lite (Tab S7 FE was launched though). Now, it looks like the company is bringing up the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite new model with some improvements. Let us take a look at the new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in detail.

New Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Spotted on Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench, Support Page, and More

The new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been spotted with SM-P613 and SM-P619 model numbers on Bluetooth SIG certification. The Bluetooth database also confirms the tablet’s moniker and both the models will come with support for Bluetooth 5.0.

Further, on Geekbench, the Samsung SM-P619, which is one of the two models of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been spotted. As per the listing, the device will come with an octa-core chipset powered by Qualcomm. Going by the frequency and clusters, the new Tab S6 Lite will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset with a base clock speed of 1.8Ghz, a max clock speed of 2.32GHz, and Adreno 618 GPU. It will run on Android 12 out of the box and will feature 4GB of RAM, according to the listing. The tab scored 555 in the single-core and 1685 in the multi-core test.

The upcoming tablet from Samsung was also spotted on HTML5 revealing the screen resolution, which will be 800 x 1334 pixels (HD+) and Android 12 OS. The tab scored 474 out of 555 in the test. The Samsung SM-P619 and SM-P613 were also seen on Samsung’s France support page, hinting at an imminent launch.

Lastly, the SM-P613 was certified on Energy Star reveals specifications and confirmed more details like the processor, which is SM-7125 codename for the Snapdragon 720G. The listing also confirms 4GB RAM.
