Samsung has been one of the very few brands which have consistently launched new tablets for users. While it is still a niche segment, the brand has quite a number of devices in the category. On the other, a majority of the other OEMs have stopped launching tablets. The lesser demand for the segment is one of the reasons for that. However, it seems like Samsung is planning to launch yet another tablet for users. This time, Samsung is targeting the budget segment with its latest product. As per rumors, the Tab S7 Lite or the Tab S8e is reportedly heading for a launch pretty soon.

Geekbench listing all but confirms the existence of Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite 5G

The Tab S7 Lite has been rumored for a while now. It was reported that these devices will be available in Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G variants. Now, one of the devices has shown up on a Geekbench listing. It bears the model number SM-T736B and scores 650 and 1694 in single-core and multi-core benchmarks respectively.

The device reportedly features the Adreno 619 GPU and the max clock speed of the CPU is 2.21 GHz which suggests that we might see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC under the hood. The device is running on Android 11, and the model number suggests that it is a 5G variant of the Tab S7 or Tab S8e.

As of now, there is quite little known about the tablets Samsung has in store. The device’s moniker is uncertain as well. Some rumors have suggested that the tablets will have a Plus and XL variant as well, which will likely sport a larger display. For now, we are certain about the fact that something is definitely brewing in the tablets segment. When Samsung will actually reveal the device remains to be seen.
