Samsung is rumoured to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE tablet in the coming months. If the rumours are to be believed, the upcoming Fan Edition series tablet will make its debut by the end of the year. The Samsung Galaxy S8 FE will be the company’s cheapest tablet in the Tab S8 series, similar to other Fan Edition series tablets. In a new development, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database, courtesy of Galaxy Club.
The benchmark listing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE reveals that it will be powered by a MediaTek Kompanio processor and 4GB of RAM. Let us take a closer look at the details.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE Will be powered by MediaTek Kompanio 900T Processor
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database with the model number e SM-X506B. The upcoming Samsung tablet managed to score 773 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 2318 points. The benchmark listing further reveals the presence of an octa-core MediaTek processor with 2.60GHz peak frequency and model number MT8791V/ZA.
Going by the specifications, the processor being used on the Tab S8 FE appears to be MediaTek Kompanio 900T. To those unaware, the Kompanio 900T was announced last year and is fabbed on TSMC’s 6nm process. The graphics duties on the Kompanio 900T are taken care of by a Mali-G68 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE Geekbench listing further reveals that the tablet will feature 4GB of RAM. Though, we can expect Samsung to introduce the upcoming tablet in other memory variants as well. The Tab S8 FE might also be the first Samsung tablet to come pre-loaded with Android 13 out of the box.
