Samsung is hosting the Galaxy Unpacked event on April 28th at 7:30 PM IST, where the Korean smartphone behemoth is set to announce “The most powerful Galaxy yet”. Samsung revealed this information by releasing a new video on its official YouTube channel. The teaser does not disclose the name of the upcoming Galaxy device, but it does hints that the company might introduce new laptops. The brand could launch the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 on April 28th. The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will be all-virtual, meaning that it will be live-streamed on Samsung’s official Website, YouTube channel, and other social media handles.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book Pro 360 Specifications
Samsung’s upcoming laptops, the Galaxy Book Pro, and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 are in the news for the past several weeks. We even saw the renders and specifications of these upcoming laptops emerging out, courtesy of tipster Evan Blass a few weeks ago. Both the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 are expected to launch in two sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch. Connectivity-wise, these laptops are supposed to offer LTE support and a Thunderbolt4 port.
The Galaxy Book Pro is supposed to ship with a large trackpad, a fingerprint reader, a USB Type-A port, and a headphone jack. This upcoming laptop may even feature a USB Type-C port. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book Pro 360 will also feature a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack. It will also be compatible with S Pen. The Galaxy Book Pro is expected to launch in Blue and Silver colour options, whereas the Galaxy Book Pro 360 might come in Navy and Gold colour options.
Recently, the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 live images were even revealed by Saftey Korea certification, which was first spotted by 91Mobiles. Additionally, we even saw the Galaxy Book Go moniker getting certified by FCC and Bluetooth SIG yesterday. We might even see the launch of the Galaxy Book Go at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
The past leak suggests that the Galaxy Book Go will feature a 14-inch display with Full HD resolution, and will come in two different processor configurations – one with Snapdragon 7c chipset, and the other higher-end model with Snapdragon 8cx Gen X chipset. The base model is expected to ship with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the higher-end model might pack 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
