Last month Samsung officially confirmed that it will be hosting the Galaxy Unpacked Event in Seoul by the end of July. However, during that time the brand didn’t reveal the exact launch date of its upcoming foldable smartphones. Now, the South-Korean smartphone maker has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming foldable smartphones. As per the details shared by Samsung, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 26 at 7:00 ET (04.30 PM IST). While sharing the launch date details, Samsung also shared the teaser image, which reveals the Galaxy Fip 5 smartphone from the side.
At this upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, the company is expected to launch its newest foldable smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 and the Galaxy Flip 5 smartphones. Apart from these devices, Samsung also might launch the Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Tab 9 series, and the recently certified Galaxy SmartTag 2 at the same event.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 Specifications (Expected)
Speaking about the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5, it is expected to feature a 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer screen on the device is expected to be of around 6.2 inches. Powering the device under the hood there could be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone might pack up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. On the software side of things, we can expect both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to boot Android 13 out of the box with One UI 5.1 skin on top.
