Samsung is expected to be working on new Galaxy smartwatches which are said to be the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Active. We have witnessed several leaks and rumours about the health trackers in the past revealing some of the vital information. Previous reports claimed that the company is aiming to launch the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Active in the second quarter of 2021. In the latest development tipster, Tron citing a Korean website has listed the features of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Active.

According to the tipster, the smartwatch might ditch the non-invasive Blood sugar level monitoring feature. Let’s have a closer look at the latest leak of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Active.

According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to launch in 42mm and 46mm dial size and the Watch 4 Active is said to ship with 40mm and 42mm dial size. Further, the tipster suggests that the fitness trackers are scheduled to launch alongside the launch of the Galaxy Z, which is expected to happen in July or August.


Citing the Korean tech website, the tipster revealed that both the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Active lineups will run on WearOS instead of Tizen. More importantly, the smartwatches are said to ditch non-invasive blood sugar measuring sensors. Yes! You read it correctly, the upcoming Galaxy fitness trackers are tipped to ship without the sensor which was promised at the beginning of this year. However, do note that the company is yet to reveal anything and it’s advisable to take this information with a grain of salt.

Going with the previous leaks, tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the upcoming smartwatches will come with Android instead of Tizen. It was expected that Samsung might unveil the two wearables at the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 launch event in July 2021. It would be interesting to see when the company is planning to launch the wearable and at what price it will launch them in India.
