Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event will be hosted on August 10. Samsung will launch two new foldable smartphones at its new Unpacked event. These are the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G. Alongside the foldable phones, Samsung is also expected to launch two new smartwatches in the Galaxy Watch 5 series. These include the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro.
Samsung has not officially revealed the launch details of the Watch 5 series. However, the rumour mill has been leaking some key details of the upcoming Samsung smartwatches. The latest leak involves the official images of the Galaxy Watch 5 series.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series will be the company’s new premium smartwatches to take on the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8. The new Galaxy Watch 5 models will sport a circular design. The design is fairly similar to the outgoing Watch 4 models.
Tipster EvLeaks and 91Mobiles have uploaded the design renders, which also reveal the colour options of the two smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will launch in two colours – Grey Titanium and Black Titanium. Samsung will make the standard Watch 5 available in more colourful options. The Watch 5 40mm variant is said to launch in Pink Gold, Graphite and Silver colours, whereas the 44mm variant will debut in Graphite, Silver and Sapphire colours.
The new Galaxy smartwatches will come with many health and fitness-related features, including a new temperature sensor for detecting fever. Samsung will also introduce new ecosystem features in the Watch 5 series that will work hand-in-hand with the Galaxy smartphones and laptops.
A report also revealed the pricing details of the upcoming Samsung smartwatches. According to the report, the base 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 with Bluetooth connectivity will be priced at EUR 259.98 (roughly Rs 21,050), whereas the 44mm variant will be priced at EUR 286.90 (roughly Rs 23,240).
