Samsung is rumoured to launch two new foldable smartphones later this year. According to rumours, the South Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 in July 2021. Key details of the Fold 3 have been floating on the web for quite some time. The latest report has now leaked the Galaxy Z Flip 3 design renders. According to the new renders posted by a tipster named Szczepan Karpiel-Bułecka. The renders reveal that the Z Flip 3 has a larger secondary display compared to the original Flip. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is rumoured to launch in July this year. Ahead of the launch, the foldable smartphone’s design renders have leaked.
Tipster Szczepan Karpiel-Bułecka has posted some of the Flip 3 design renders. The images reveal that the foldable phone will continue to have a clamshell folding mechanism. It will come in four dual-tone colours – Purple, Black, White, Green. The two noticeable differences so far reveal that the foldable phone has a larger secondary display. The original Flip has a 1.1-inch cover display. One of the images shows that the cover display is big enough to read a text message.
The camera module alignment has also been shifted. According to the leaked images, the foldable phone will have a dual-camera setup placed vertically. Previous reports suggested that the upcoming Flip will have a 12MP + 12MP camera setup on the back. The device, codenamed Bloom 2, will have a 10MP front camera inside the hole-punch folding display.
The smartphone was spotted on the SafetyKorea certification website. The listing revealed that the clamshell foldable smartphone will feature a 2,300mAh rated capacity and a 2,370mAh typical capacity. There is an additional battery model rated at 903mAh. The same has also been certified by the DEKRA certification website.
