Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The clamshell foldable phone was launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Watch 5 series and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The new Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes as a successor to the Flip 3, which was launched last year in India. Samsung has made some minor, yet key improvements in the Z Flip 4. The foldable phone now packs a much bigger battery. Despite the increase in the battery capacity, the overall weight and thickness of the Z Flip 4 have not increased by a lot.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at Unpacked 2022. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with up to 512GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. It has a starting price of $999 (roughly Rs 79,206). The Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G comes in Phantom Black, Blue, Orange and Bora Purple colours.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2640 pixel resolution. The Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex display has a 21:9 aspect ratio and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
There is a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display on the outside with a 260 x 512-pixel resolution. The Z Flip 4 also sports a dual-camera setup on the back. it has a 12MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Alongside, there is a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123-degree field of view.

Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The 4nm octa-core SoC is paired with an Adreno 730 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It also comes with a 10MP front camera sensor. Samsung has packed a 3700 mAh battery in the Flip 4, which supports 25W fast charging, 11W reverse wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 weighs about 187 grams. When folded, the Z Flip 4 measures 84.9 x 71.9 x 17.1 mm. On unfolding, it measures 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm. Lastly, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 runs Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
