Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Official Imagery Leaked Online Ahead of Rumoured August Launch

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 5G are expected to launch soon. The foldable smartphones from Samsung are likely to arrive in August alongside the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Samsung is yet to officially announce the Galaxy Unpacked date for the launch of the Fold 4 and Flip 4. While we wait for that, a new report gives us a good look at some of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 design details.

A 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Evan Blass, has uploaded the official imagery of the Z Flip 4. The foldable phone’s side profile in Bora Purple has leaked online. The images reveal that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with subtle design changes. It has darker antenna lines and a closer look reveals that the phone has slightly larger buttons compared to the Flip 3.

The camera module also protrudes slightly, which means that Samsung could offer a slightly larger camera sensor. In addition to this, the report states that the hinge will be narrower and situated closer to the screen.

A lot about the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has leaked online. Some reports have also revealed the key specifications and features of the foldable phone.

Samsung’s new clamshell foldable will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will have a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the 10MP front camera. The Flip 4 will have a 2.1-inch cover screen, which will be large enough to view messages, incoming calls and other notifications.

It will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and pack a 3700 mAh battery. The flip phone is expected to support 25W fast charging. It will come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The foldable phone will also sport a dual-camera setup on the back. There will be a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera.

The Z Flip 4 will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and run Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
