Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are expected to launch later this year. The company is likely to launch two premium foldable phones in the second half of 2023. The Galaxy Z series phones might launch in July or August. Samsung is yet to confirm the official details about the launch timeline of the Galaxy Z series. Meanwhile, the rumour mill seems to be running at an increased capacity to reveal more and more details about the upcoming Samsung foldable phones. The latest leak has revealed the colour options of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Samsung is expected to launch the two foldable phones in multiple colour options. A new leak by Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) executive, Ross Young, has revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will launch in at least four colour options. The clamshell-style foldable phone will be the more affordable of the two Galaxy Z series foldable phones.
According to the new leak, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will launch in Beige, Grey, Light Green and Light Pink colour options in various markets. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is available in Phantom Black, Blue, Orange and Bora Purple colours.
The analyst also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will launch in three colour options. The top-end foldable phone is said to launch in Beige, Black and Light Blue colours. The Galaxy Z Fold 4, in comparison, is available in Graygreen, Phantom Black, Beige colour options.

Young further added that the foldable phones will be available in limited BeSpoke colour options, along with a few Samsung online store exclusive variants.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5 Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 are tipped to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy. The same SoC has been customised for the Galaxy S23 series and has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is rumoured to get noticeable upgrades than the Fold 5. The outer screen of the Z Flip 5 is said to get bigger and better.
According to a recent leak, the Flip 5’s outer display will be 3.4-inch tall. The foldable phone will sport a dual-camera setup on the outside. There will be a 6.7/ 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Fold 5 will look identical to its predecessor. The camera module design, however, will be in line with the Galaxy S23 series. It is expected to feature three circular cutouts and an LED flash on the back. The foldable phone is also said to be 13 grams lighter than the Fold 4 at 250 grams.
Samsung is also tipped to use a new water-drop hinge mechanism instead of the existing U-shaped hinge. The change in design should result in lesser visibility of the crease. It is likely to sport a 6.2-inch outer display, whereas the foldable AMOLED display will be 7.6 inches diagonally tall.
