Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 spotted on the 3C certification website ahead of its launch
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to launch in July 2021. Ahead of the launch, the foldable phone was spotted on the 3C certification website.
The 3C listing reveals the battery charging capabilities of the device. As per the listing, Fold 3 will have a 25W fast charging support. It is the same as last year’s Fold 2. Previously, the device was spotted on the 3C certification website as well. At that time, the listing revealed the device’s battery capacity details. Samsung will pack a 2060 mAh battery and a 2215 mAh battery in the Fold 3. Combined, the phone will pack a 4,275 mAh cell. Compared to the Fold 2, the Fold 3 will have a slightly smaller battery. The Fold 2 packed a 4500 mAh battery.
Other details of the device have been tipped previously. It is said to come with a marginally smaller display. The foldable screen on the inside will have a 7.5-inch screen, whereas the cover display will be 6.2-inch tall. Samsung is also rumoured to launch the Fold 2 with an under-display camera (UDC). However, the decision to include the UDC will be confirmed closer to the launch as the company is still testing the tech. In that case, the phone will have a 16MP under-screen camera. The cover screen, on the other hand, will feature a 12MP front camera. On the back, the Fold 3 will have a triple camera setup with a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP sensor setup.
Like the S21 Ultra, the Fold 3 will also support S Pen. Other details of the device are expected to surface as we get closer to the launch. What are your thoughts on Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphone? Do let us know in the comments below.
