Samsung is gearing up for the August 11 launch event. At the Galaxy Unpacked 2021, Samsung will unveil new foldable phones, smartwatches and wireless earbuds. Among the list of products launching at the Samsung event on August 11 is the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The company has tried its luck in curtaining the leaks but has not had success so far. We have seen multiple reports claiming to have leaked the pricing details and specifications of the upcoming Samsung foldable phone. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specs leaked in full glory
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specifications have leaked again. The foldable smartphone will launch on August 11 alongside the Z Flip 3.
The WinFuture report reiterates some of the key details leaked previously. It reveals that the phone will have a 7.6-inch foldable display with a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels. The Dynamic AMOLED display will have a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus and a 120Hz refresh rate support. The outer Super AMOLED display is 6.2-inch tall and has a resolution of 2260 x 832 pixels.
The foldable display has an under-screen 4MP f/1.8 camera. There is a secondary 10MP front camera on the outer display with an f/2.2 aperture. On the back, the device has a 12MP triple-camera setup. The main 12MP camera and 12MP telephoto camera sensors support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). There is also a 12MP ultrawide sensor with a 123-degree field of view. The camera will support 8K UHD video recording.
Under the hood, the device will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The 5nm SoC is paired with 12GB of RAM. It will come in 256GB/ 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will pack a 4,400 mAh battery with fast wired charging and wireless charging support. It is rumoured to support 25W wired fast charging.
The device will measure 158.2 x 128.1 x 6.4 mm. When folded, it will measure 158.2 x 67.1 x 14.4 mm. The report states that Samsung’s upcoming foldable will weigh 271 grams. It will run Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 out of the box.
