Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S21 series in India and other international markets. The company is expected to launch premium foldable smartphones in the coming months. According to a new tip, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are tipped to launch in July. The news comes from notable tipster Ice Universe. Without going into the details, the tipster tweeted, “We may have to wait for 5 months to see Flip 3 and Fold 3.” Details about the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are very limited. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 launch, rumoured specifications, and other details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 launch tipped for July 2021

Samsung is expected to launch two foldable smartphones this year. As per reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 will launch in H2 2021. A new tip from Ice Universe suggests that the two foldable smartphones would launch in July 2021. This is a couple of months earlier than the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, which launched in September.

The possibility of the two foldable smartphones launching early could be high. Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series in January this year, instead of the typical February refresh cycle. Launching the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 in July would give enough room for the Galaxy Note 21 series launch in August/ September.

There isn’t a confirmed announcement on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 launch yet.

The two biggest updates available on the Z Fold 3 are the inclusion of S Pen support and an in-display front camera.

Samsung is also confirmed to be working on a new rollable screen smartphone slated to launch later this year. The tech behemoth’s display division’s vice president Choi Kwon-young said that it’s first rollable and slidable displays are coming this year. We can expect the mobile division to adopt the new display tech when it is commercial-ready.
