Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 next month. Ahead of the official announcement, some key details around the device’s India launch have leaked. Tipster Yogesh and 91Mobiles claim that the Z Fold 3 launch will take place during the second week of August. The foldable phone will go on sale starting late August in the US and UK. Previously, tipster Jon Prosser had claimed that the Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 will go on sale starting August 27. Tipster Yogesh’s update on the Fold 3’s sale goes in line with Prosser’s leak.
The report further reveals the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s India launch timeline. Yogesh claims that Samsung will launch the new foldable smartphone in September 2021. There is no word on the exact launch date at the moment.
Camera specifications
Tipster Yogesh has also shared more details about the device’s camera system. According to the tipster, the Fold3 will have a 12MP triple-camera setup. It will have a main, telephoto, and ultrawide camera sensor setup. For selfies, the under-screen camera will have a 16MP sensor. The outer display, on the other hand, will have a 10MP sensor.
Other details of the foldable have leaked in the past. It is expected to sport a 7.55-inch foldable display. The cover display will be 6.2-inch tall. It will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The foldable smartphone will also feature S Pen support as well. It will launch in three colours – black, silver, and green.
