Samsung is gearing up for the launch of new foldable smartphones. According to rumours, the company will host an Unpacked event on August 11. Samsung is rumoured to launch at least two new foldable smartphones at the event. One of the two devices rumoured to debut at the Unpacked 2021 August event is the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. The company is yet to confirm the official launch date of the event. While we wait for that, some key details of the upcoming Samsung phone have leaked online. The device has visited the NBTC and HTML5test websites, confirming some key details. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specs, features, and other details.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 NBTC, HTML5test listing

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to launch on August 11. Ahead of the event, the device is listed on the NBTC and HTML5test websites. The listing on either website confirms some of the device’s key details. The HTML5test listing confirms that the device with the model number SM-F926B will run Android 11 out of the box. Samsung’s foldable phone will have a layer on OneUI 3.0 on top. It scored 525 out of 555 in the HTML5 tests running Chrome 87.

The NBTC listing, on the other hand, confirms the device’s moniker. Samsung will debut its next foldable smartphone as the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. The NBTC listing does not reveal more details. That being said, previous reports have already listed the key specs of the foldable smartphone.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumoured to sport a 7.55-inch foldable display. The cover display will be 6.2-inch tall. Under the hood, the phone will feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will also come with S Pen support.

On the back, the phone will have a 12MP triple-camera setup. It will have a main, telephoto, and ultrawide camera sensor setup. For selfies, the under-screen camera will have a 16MP sensor. The outer display, on the other hand, will have a 10MP sensor. Leaked renders suggest that the phone will launch in black, silver, and green colours.

It is expected to first go on sale starting late August in the US and UK. Previously, tipster Jon Prosser had claimed that the Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 will go on sale starting August 27.
