Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Design, Colour Options Revealed Ahead of August 10 Unpacked event

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 date has been confirmed. The company will host its new Unpacked event on August 10, where it will unveil the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Samsung has already dropped its new Unpacked teaser, which reveals some design elements of the upcoming foldable smartphones. A recent report revealed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G design images. Now, a 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Evan Blass, has uploaded new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 design images.

The tipster, popularly known as EvLeaks, uploaded the design images of all three colours that the Fold 4 will launch at the Unpacked 2022 event. According to the photos uploaded by Blass, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will launch in Phantom Black, Beige and Grey colour options.

The images also reveal that the camera module protrudes slightly on top of the rear panel. The pill-shaped module has a triple-camera setup and an LED flash inside. On the inside, the foldable display does not have any hole-punch cutout or a notch for the camera. There is a centrally aligned hole punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

The Fold 4 will sport a 7.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. There will be a 10MP front camera. The Fold 4 will also have a 16MP camera under the foldable display.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom. The phone will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Some regions are tipped to get a 1TB storage option. 

The Fold 4 will pack a 4400 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support and 15W wireless charging support. It will run Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box.
