Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 very soon. The upcoming foldable smartphone from Samsung is likely to launch in August at the Galaxy Unpacked event. We are still a few months away from the rumoured launch event. As we get closer to the launch, new details of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 have surfaced online.
Tipster Yogesh Brar has listed the key specifications of the upcoming Samsung foldable smartphone. The leaked spec sheet reveals that the Fold 4 will come with Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile SoC. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications, features and other details.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with some minor design upgrades. However, the internals is set to get some of the latest hardware available right now. According to Brar, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The 4nm chipset offers 10 per cent better GPU and CPU and 30 per cent better efficiency.
The chipset will be paired with 12GB and 16GB of RAM along with up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone will pack a 4400 mAh battery and support 25W wired fast charging. There will not be a charger in the box. We also expect the Fold 4 to support 15W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The display is the USP of the Fold 4. According to Brar, the Fold 4’s foldable display will come with a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display. It is rumoured that the crease will not be as evident as the Fold 3. The foldable display will also have a 16MP under-screen camera.
On the outside, there will be a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED display. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate like the foldable screen. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the 10MP front camera.
On the back, the phone will have a triple-camera setup. It will feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera sensor and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Lastly, the Fold 4 will boot Android 12-based OneUI 4 out of the box.
