Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 Tipped to Launch on July 26

The design renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 were leaked a few weeks ago. As per the leaked design renders, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is all set to get a major upgrade in terms of cover display. The company has been using a ~1.9-inch cover display for the last two generations of Flip phones. However, with Oppo and Vivo offering a big cover display on their clamshell foldable, Samsung is also finally including a bigger cover display on the upcoming Flip 5.

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, it will feature a 7.6-inch folding display. The cover display on the Fold 5 is expected to be a 6.2-inch panel. Samsung will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy SoC for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. The upcoming Samsung foldables were also spotted on the 3C certification website which revealed support for 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, as revealed through renders, will offer a dual-rear camera setup. This could likely be a combination of a 12MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, similar to its predecessor. Some rumours also suggest that the device might offer a 50MP primary camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will offer a triple-rear camera setup which will be a combination of a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera lens. It is said to come equipped with a 4400mAh battery unit. Samsung might introduce a new Light Blue colour option with the Galaxy Fold 5. The handset is said to come in black and beige colour options as well.
