As per the listing, the Fold 3 will come with a 2060 mAh and a 2215 mAh battery. Combined, the device will have a 4,275 mAh battery. This is smaller than Fold 2’s 4,500 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to launch in July 2021. Ahead of the launch, the device has been spotted on the 3C website.
The certification listing has revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming foldable smartphone. As per the listing, the Fold3 will have a dual-cell battery setup. It will come with a 2060 mAh and a 2215 mAh battery. Together, the device will pack a4,275 mAh cell. This is smaller than the Fold 2, which came with a 4,500 mAh battery.
The device was previously rumoured to come with a slightly smaller display as well. The foldable display on the Galaxy Fold 3 will be 7.5-inch diagonal, whereas the outer screen will remain 6.2-inch tall.
The foldable is also rumoured to feature an under-display camera (UDC). Samsung has been testing the UDC on the Z Fold 3. However, the inclusion of UDC is not confirmed yet due to logistical issues. If the company decides to go ahead with UDC, the Fold 3 will come with a 16MP front camera on the main display. It will also have a 12MP front camera on the cover display.
The device will come with S Pen support. It will be a hybrid between the S Pen found on the S21 Ultra and the Note 20 series. The Fold 3 will come with a triple camera setup on the back. It will have a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP camera setup on the back.
