The video shows that the upcoming ROM for Samsung smartphones takes cues from Google’s stock Android 12 skin. A ‘Network & Internet’ section has been added and replaces the Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Mobile Hotspot & Flight Mode buttons in the Quick Panel. The Mobile Networks section has also got a slight redesign. The next major OneUI update will merge ‘Data Usage’ and ‘SIM Card Manager’ with additional settings like changing SIM name and colour.

There’s also the Mobile Plan section that lets users check the remaining data from their existing pack. The user further notes that the ‘Mobile Hotspot and Tethering’ option has been renamed and redesigned to ‘Tethering & Portable Hotspot’. Lastly, Mobile Hotspot has been renamed to Wi-Fi hotspot in the new beta update.

The user notes that some features are buggy at the moment. For example, the Material You design implementation for changing colours often requires a reboot. This is obvious as the update is currently under beta testing. He stated the beta version is being tested internally. It is expected to release get a public release in August or September.
