Samsung TV Plus Free Streaming Service for Smart TV Users Coming to India in 2021

Samsung TV Plus service will be available for free access to the Samsung smart TV users.

Samsung is finally soon going to launch its Samsung TV Plus web content services for the Indian consumers. Besides, India the company is also launching the service to markets like Sweden, Mexico, and European countries. The South Korean tech giant confirmed to bring this service in 2021. Just to let you know, the Samsung TV Plus was launched back in 2015 for limited access later the company expanded to 12 countries and 742 channels.

Samsung TV Plus Soon Arriving India

The Samsung TV Plus service also comes with around 300 broadcast network partners that offer free content to the company’s smart TV users. Currently, Samsung TV Plus is accessible in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. Recently the company has expanded the services to Australia and Brazil, so a total of 12 countries are enjoying this service and soon India will also be among them.

Unlike Amazon Prime Videos, Netflix, and other OTT platforms Samsung TV Plus service will be available for free access to the Samsung smart TV users. Do note that the services will support ad-based content and all the smart TV dated back to 2016 will come pre-installed with the service. Notably, the service also comes as a part of the selected smartphones like the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy S20 in the United States.

Samsung TV Plus comes with the following channels in the US.

  • Nick Pluto TV
  • CBSN
  • ABC News Live
  • Cheddar
  • USA Today

The OTT platform also supports shows like Kitchen Nightmares, Baywatch, Wipeout Xtra, and more among the others. The company claims that the services will be rolled out to more than 60 million smart TVs.
