
A brand known for its Galaxy line-up has teamed up with the movie set in a galaxy far far away. Yes, Samsung has collaborated with the Star Wars franchise for the launch of The Rise of Skywalker set on December 20. As a part of this partnership, Samsung will launch a special edition Star Wars-themed Galaxy Note 10+. Dubbed as the Galaxy Note 10 Star Wars Special Edition, this handset offers Star Wars inspired design and software elements. Plus, Samsung is throwing in a specially designed case, a metal badge, and Galaxy Buds. The device will be pre-loaded with Star Wars based UI elements such as wallpapers, transition effects, icons, and sounds. Aesthetics aside, the core specifications of the Note 10+ remain the same.

The Galaxy Note 10+ is a waterproof device with IP 68 rating. It comes with an impressive 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a punch-hole at the forehead to accommodate the selfie camera. It features an under the display fingerprint sensor. At the heart of the device is the Exynos 9825 chipset. It comprises of two M4 cores, two Cortex-A75 cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores. For gaming, you get Mali-G76 MP12 GPU.
In the photography department, the Galaxy Note 10+ comes with a 12 MP primary lens, a 12 MP telephoto lens, and a 16 MP wide sensor. Then, there’s a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. The device can record 4K videos at 60 fps. To compensate for shaky hands, the phone has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) on two modules. For selfies, you get a 10 MP unit.
The handset supports two SIM cards with 4G VoLTE. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, A-GPS (network assisted), USB 3.1, and NFC. And of course, you get the S-Pen that lets you jot down quick notes or use it as a remote for certain tasks such as taking selfies. The phone holds a 4,300 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging support. On the software side of things, the handset comes with Android 9 Pie with One UI customization on top.
Galaxy Note 10+ Stars Wars Special Edition Price And Availability
A limited number of Galaxy Note10+ Star Wars Special Edition will be available in select markets including Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, and the UK. The rollout is expected to start on December 10. In the US, the phone will hit the stores on December 13. It can be purchased for $1,299 (approx Rs 93,500) from Best Buy, Microsoft, and Samsung stores. At this point, Samsung hasn’t shed light on the phone’s launch date in India.
