Samsung on Tuesday, November 20, hosted its first Bixby Developer Day in Seoul to attract more developers towards its own virtual assistant. In the developer’s conference, the Korean smartphone maker announced that it is working on the next version of Bixby i.e. Bixby 3.0. The brand also confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy F will ship with the upcoming Bixby 3.0. Earlier this year, Samsung rolled out Bixby 2.0 with the Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung Galaxy F to feature an improved Bixby 3.0
We’re already aware that Samsung is working on a foldable smartphone dubbed the Galaxy F. Samsung recently confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy F will ship with yet to be released Bixby 3.0. Although, the brand didn’t reveal any major information on the next biggest Bixby update. The next version of Bixby will definitely bring some major improvements, more features and services. Samsung recently opened up Bixby to the third-party developers by introducing Bixby Developer Studio and the Bixby Marketplace. Developers can now create features for Bixby which the company will distribute through the marketplace.
Apart from this, Samsung also announced that it will manufacture as many as 1 million units of Galaxy F. The Galaxy F will see its official unveiling in March 2019 with a price tag of USD 1,700 (roughly INR 1,24,000). The Galaxy F will use a folding phone technology which the brand calls Infinity Flex Display. The mass production for this display panel will soon begin in the coming months. Apart from the foldable display, Samsung is also working on rollable and stretchable display panels which the brand might showcase in a few years from now.

The Galaxy F is going to come with a foldable display having a resolution of 1536 x 2152 pixels, 4.2:3 aspect ratio and a screen size of 7.3-inch. When folded, the screen will measure 4.58-inch having an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 840 x 1960 pixels. The device will reportedly feature 512GB of onboard memory. In terms of processor, the Galaxy F might feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8150 chipset. Other specifications like RAM, cameras and battery are not known yet. Huawei is also working on its own iteration of the foldable smartphone which the brand is expected to launch sometime early next year.
