Horror movie fans first met Ghostface, one of this generation’s most recognisable cinematic villains, in 1996. Then, in 2022, the series was revived with Scream, a follow-up that bore the same name as the first movie. The franchise’s fifth movie’s success, led to a direct sequel, Scream 6, which was announced for release in February 2022. Subsequently, the movie was released in March in theatres.
