Shanling, a company known for its series of audiophile products, has launched a pair of true wireless earbuds in India dubbed the Shanling MTW100. With the Shanling MTW100, Shanling has finally entered the true wireless bandwagon as it is the company’s first-ever product of this niche. The earbuds aim to provide for “impressive battery life” and are designed while keeping portability in mind. Starting things off with the colour variants, the Shanling MTW100 true wireless earbuds are available in three colours – Red, Black, and White. The Red and Black feature a Balanced Armature Driver whereas the White colour variant features a Graphene Dynamic Driver. Both the options come with Bluetooth 5.0 with support for AAC codec, higher speed, lower latency, and lower power consumption.

Moreover, the Shanling MTW100 earbuds come with a surrounding awareness mode that allows some environmental sounds to pass through while listening. Coming to the battery of the earbuds, the White variant of the Shanling MTW100 comes with a graphene dynamic driver that offers up to 6 hours of battery and an additional 21 hours via the charging case. The other two variants feature a Knowles’ Balanced Armature driver which offers 7 hours of battery life on a single charge with, of course, the 21 hours with the charging case. Speaking of charging, the Shanling MTW100 earbuds can be charged with a USB Type-C cable, or you can even charge them wirelessly.

Just like any other typical true wireless earbuds, the Shanling MTW100 earbuds connect seamlessly with the Bluetooth device as soon as they are taken out of the charging case, the company claims. Both the earphones can be used individually and/or together. Even if one is making use of a single earbud, it still gives full access to calls and Surrounding Awareness mode. The buds come with a touch sensor for control over calls and playback (play/pause, previous, next). Lastly, the MTW100 earbuds are IPX7 waterproof, so one can make use of them freely during physical activities like running and gymming, as a little bit of sweat won’t hurt them.
