Skullcandy has launched its latest pair of in-ear headphones in India, dubbed the Skullcandy Indy ANC true wireless earbuds. The latest pair brings active noise cancellation with a standard pair of dynamic driver true wireless earbuds. As with most new generation wireless earbuds, the Skullcandy Indy ANC also features a low latency mode to target gamers, and its charging case offers support for both wired fast charging, as well as slower but more convenient wireless charging. All features considered, the Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS offers a strong proposition for buyers who don’t want to miss out on any new generation features, without splurging too much.

Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS: Price in India

The Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS is priced at Rs 10,999 in India. Buyers interested by the feature set on offer can already purchase the earbuds on the Skullcandy India online store, as well as other authorised online and offline retail stores. The Indy ANC was also already offered for preorders, so deliveries for those who preordered should commence today itself. The earphones are available only in one colour option — True Black.

Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS: Features

The Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS features a 12mm dynamic driver pair that has a titanium coated diaphragm to ensure minimal harmonic distortion — tiny movements inside the earbuds that may cause audio to reverberate and create a jittery or jarring effect at higher volumes. On paper, this should ensure good audio clarity at high volumes, but it would all depend on whether Skullcandy has succeeded in tuning the drivers and diaphragm up to industry standard. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 with a low latency connectivity mode to improve data throughput and upgrade the quality of high definition audio that can be streamed on the Indy ANC.

The companion Skullcandy app will seemingly take care of a large number of features at hand. For starters, users will be able to create custom sound profiles by taking a real-time test, which looks to configure the audio output in line with personal ear properties and hearing conditions. Along with this, users can also select three optimised sound modes — music (with a focus on bass output), movies (with a bass-treble balance) and podcast (with clear treble/mid focus). The digital active noise cancellation onboard the Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS gets an ambient mode that can be accessed by long-pressing the capacitive button on the exterior of the earbud.

A big takeaway of the Skullcandy Indy ANC TWS is the integrated Tile tracker, which can help you locate the earbuds by tracking them via the Tile app. The earbuds also get 5 hours of earbud playback time with ANC on, which extends to 19 hours with the charging case. Without ANC, the on-earbud playing time extends to 9 hours, and up to 32 hours with the charging case. You can get fast wired charging via USB-C that gives 2 hours of playback time in 10 minutes of charging, or wireless charging too.
