Full specifications, features, and pricing of the Pixel 8 series were recently revealed in a series of leaks. In addition, Google accidentally listed the Pixel 8 Pro on the Google Store website, which confirmed its design and colour options. Vivo V29 Series

Vivo V29 series with the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G, will launch in India on October 4. This was officially confirmed by the company in a post on X. Vivo V29 series will be up for grabs online via Flipkart. It is also expected to be available through offline retail stores across the country.

The company has also shared teasers, indicating that smartphone design and portrait photography will take centre stage. The devices are confirmed to sport an ultra-slim 3D curved display and the back panel will feature what the company is calling, “India’s first 3D Particle technology”.

Other highlight features of the Vivo V29 series are Night Portrait with Smart Aura Light with the ability to adjust the light’s intensity or turn it off completely. A Sony IMX663 telephoto portrait sensor with 2x zoom is also expected on phones, coupled with Smart Colour Temperature Adjustment and India-exclusive wedding-style portrait features. Oppo Find N3 Flip is expected to make its way into the Indian market soon, after launching in China in August 2023. The second-generation clamshell smartphone from Oppo is speculated to be announced in India and the rest of the world in October.

Oppo Find N3 Flip is the successor to the Find N2 Flip and will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Moto Razr 40, and Tecno Phantom V Flip, which is also expected to make its debut this month.

Ahead of the official launch, live images of the Oppo Find N3 Flip India unit in silver colour option were shared by 91Mobiles. The images reveal that some apps customised for the global market, like Uber, X (formerly Twitter, and more) will work with the cover screen of the phone, therefore increasing its productivity.

OnePlus Open

OnePlus is set to enter the world of foldable smartphones with the OnePlus Open, which is expected to finally launch globally on October 19 (via tipster Max Jambor). OnePlus Open, which will be the company’s first foldable smartphone is said to be a rebranded version of Oppo Find N3 Flip, which has already been announced in China.

Do note that the OnePlus Open was rumoured to make its debut sooner in August, but the launch was delayed. While OnePlus has not made the launch date official, it did share a teaser image of the smartphone, indicating an imminent debut.

For those waiting eagerly for the OnePlus Open, do keep in mind that the smartphone will rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Oppo N3 Flip in terms of features as well as pricing. OnePlus Open will sport a 7.8-inch foldable screen with a 2K resolution, paired with a secondary 6.3-inch screen on the outside. Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) is anticipated to launch in the first week of October. Samsung has already put out a teaser for the smartphone, though it does not reveal much except the device will come with three rear camera sensors, stacked vertically. Tecno launched its clamshell smartphone, the Phantom V Flip in India a couple of weeks back. Now, the Phantom V Flip is available as part of an early bird sale on Amazon India from October 1.

Realme GT 5 Pro

Realme GT 5 Pro could be announced soon and this was hinted by the company in post shared from its official global account on X. The teaser post read, “The light will shine on realme, just wait.” Meanwhile, the teaser image reveals a triple rear camera setup and the text ‘Not Only Max Can Zoom’, indicates a periscope lens for the smartphone. 

Realme GT 5 Pro is tipped to sport a curved OLED panel with a 2K resolution. The triple rear camera setup will include a primary Sony IMX 9xx series sensor, a 64MP OV64B periscope sensor with 3X optical zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Further, a 5400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging tech is also expected for Realme GT 5 Pro.

Redmi Note 13 Series

Redmi Note 13 series is expected to be announced in October globally, following its official launch in China last month. The series has three phones including the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G cleared India’s BIS certification recently, which hints at a launch in the market soon. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G was spotted on the certification site IMDA in Singapore, pointing to debut in global markets soon.
