Instagram is often seen adding new features and the latest addition is the ability to add text and stickers to your photos. Up until now, this was available just for Stories. Here are more details about this update.
New Instagram Feature: What’s New This Time?
When posting photos on this social media app, you can add text or fun stickers to your images. This feature is available for carousels as well. The social media giant states,
“This feature provides creative flexibility, allowing your content to stand out and explore more engaging storytelling with photos and carousels.”
How to Use This New Feature?
To add text or stickers to a photo on Instagram, follow these steps:
- Choose a photo from your gallery and tap Next in the upper right corner.
- Select from the text, gallery, or sticker options in the right corner and add whatever you like.
- When you’re finished, tap Done and Next in the lower right corner.
After completing these steps, proceed with your usual posting process. Once you’re ready, tap Share to publish your photo. Use the same steps to add stickers or text to multiple images in an Instagram carousel.
The feature has started rolling out but if you don’t see this feature yet, ensure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version. If an update isn’t available, wait a little as you will get access to it soon.
