Sony PlayStation has been the best-selling gaming console series on the planet. Its latest member PlayStation 5 is no different as it continues to be in demand among console fans. However, it is the pricing that may be holding a few buyers back from making the purchase. The good news is Sony has announced another PlayStation 5 sale for Indian customers where they can get a significant discount for a limited time.
Sony PlayStation 5 Offer Details
Sony has announced PlayStation 5 will be available with a flat discount of Rs 7,500 in India (via). This discount is applicable only on the disc edition and as a result, it can be purchased for Rs 47,490. The usual selling price for the aforementioned console edition is Rs 54,990. It is undoubtedly a deal that you would not want to miss out on.
The special deal price will come into effect from August 24. The sale will go on for 10 days and will end on September 2. Sony says buyers can grab the console at a discounted price from the following stores:

- Shopatsc
This is the second time Sony is offering a discount on the PlayStation 5. The first discount was announced just last month. It is an unusual move from the company where it has offered such huge discounts on the console in quick succession. As per industry insider Rishi Alwani, this is likely to meet sales targets which are said to be a lot steeper this year.
The PlayStation 5 also has a Digital Edition which is a variant with no disc support. You can install games on this console only by purchasing them digitally and downloading them via the Internet. This is the reason it is priced relatively cheaper than the disc edition and usually costs Rs 44,990.
PlayStation is known for its limited-edition console releases as well. Sony recently unveiled the PlayStation 5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition bundle. It comes with custom-designed side plates and a controller. It has a Venom and symbiote-inspired design that will surely attract Spider-Man fans. Both these custom-designed items can also be purchased separately if you do not wish to get the whole console.
It has been announced in time for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game. It is the third title in the popular Marvel Spider-Man game series. It is a PlayStation 5 exclusive title and will release on September 20. If we talk about the special edition console, it will go on sale from September 1.
