Sony PlayStation 5 Next Restock Is Scheduled to Take Place on March 24: Here’s Where You Can Buy One

The restock is only for the disc variant of the console, priced at Rs 49,990.

The next PlayStation 5 restock looks like it is set to go live on March 24, 2022, at 12 PM, that is, midday. Stock will likely be available at all the usual retailers including Amazon, ShopatSC, Flipkart, and others such as Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, GamesTheShop, PrepaidGamerCard, and more.

This is the third restock of the year and it will only be for the disc variant of the console, which is priced at Rs 49,990. The Digital Edition is priced at Rs 39,990, a full Rs 10,000 lower than the disc variant due to the lack of an optical disc drive.

The PlayStation 5 remains just as elusive as it was back during its launch due to supply chain issues and chip shortages. However, the increased number of restocks certainly means prospective buyers may have more chances to get their hands on a brand-new console from Sony.

Stock flies off the shelf as soon as it hits online retailers so buyers should also check in with their local retailers, offline, to check whether they could place an order for the console.

Speculation from industry insider Rishi Alwani suggests that deliveries will begin to take place from the 8th of April. The banner is now up on ShopatSC, providing details for the upcoming restock.

The PS5’s game library has been bolstered since launch with the likes of massive games like Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, and Resident Evil Village. The Dualsense Controller has also made quite an impact as one of the best controllers in the game currently, on the back of improved Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers.

In the months to come, the PlayStation 5 library is only about to get stronger with the likes of Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarok and Forspoken.
