September and October are two crucial months for the gaming world as many titles will be launched in this period every year and existing titles with special offers. Sony launched major titles like Mortal Kombat 1, Baldur’s Gate 3 and more last month and gearing up for more in October. Sony had also brought various discounts for the PlayStation 5 console along with PS5, and PS4 games. A new festive season is upon us ahead of the Halloween season.
Popular Indian insider, Rishi Alwani has teased a new PS5 and PS4 festive sale on X (formerly known as Twitter). As seen in his post, the festive sale kicks off on October 3 and runs til October 17 with a maximum discount of 50 percent.

According to Rishi Alwani, the sale runs til October 10, 2023, while the poster mentions up to October 17. During the festive sale, gamers can save up to a maximum of 50 percent on selected titles. The post features two PS5 titles and two PS4 titles which are mentioned below:
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (PS5)
- Gran Turismo 7 (PS5)
- God of War Ragnarok (PS4)
- Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut (PS4)
Sony has not made an official announcement regarding this sale and we have no clue whether more titles will be available in the sale. However, it is highly expected numerous titles will be made available with offers during the sale season.
Players can also anticipate the Halloween sale will be starting after this festive sale concludes. Sony has recently announced the Extended Play promotion on the PlayStation Store on September 27. The promotion brings discounts of up to 75% on a variety of Deluxe, Premium, and Ultimate editions as well as season passes, add-ons and more. The sale includes nearly a thousand titles with multiple discount offers. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection is now available for 60% off while the Ghost of Tsushima Directors’ Cut (PS4) is available for 58% off. The extended play promotion will end on October 11.
God of War Ragnarok is a major title among the listed games, and many gamers have already got their hands on the game due to its vast popularity. All eyes will be on Gran Turismo 7 PS5 edition and players will be excited to get the title during this festive sale.
