Sony PS5 pre-orders to go live on May 17 in India
Sony PS5 has remained out of stock for the most part of the year. Those willing to buy the gaming console can place pre-orders on May 17.
The gaming console will go on sale later this month. Retailers across the country are slated to get the new stock on May 17. According to IGN India, PS5 India pre-orders will go live on May 17. Retailers across the country such as Prepaidgamercard have listed the Sony PlayStation with pre-orders going live on May 17 at 12 pm. The report, citing sources, claims that customers placing orders on May 17 will get their PS5 delivered on May 24.
The exact details of the total quantity of stocks are currently unknown. The report claims that it will be available in limited quantities owing to the lockdown restrictions in India. The restock could also include the Digital Edition. However, it is likely to be exclusive to ShopAtSC.com. Accessories other than the DualSense Controller will not be available for purchase for the time being.
PS5 was available for a brief moment on Reliance Digital earlier this month. The console, as usual, went out of stock within minutes of its availability. To recall, the PlayStation 5 price in India is set at Rs 49,990 for the digital version. In previous reports, it has been reported that the company is planning to restock Chroma on priority and ensure e-commerce platforms like Flipkart will receive PS5 stocks a day before other online retail portals.
