Sony PS5 pre-orders could go live again in June
Sony PS5 went out of stock earlier today within minutes during the second pre-orders. The company is now rumoured to restock the console in June.
According to IGN India, Sony PS5 India restock will happen in June 2021. The report states that the company held back on restocking enough quantities for the second pre-order due to the ongoing second wave of COVID-19. Looking at the current trend, we can expect the lockdown-like restrictions to curb down, making it easier for companies to deliver non-essential items.
The company is rumoured to offer more quantities for the Sony PS5 restock in June. It is likely to happen due to the arrival of a new exclusive title. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 in June.
“The company wants to avoid the bad publicity of releasing its big first half of the year exclusive with no console to play it on sources say. Expect wider availability of the PS5 Digital Edition though there’s no clarity on new accessories making it outside of the DualSense controller,” the report stated.
The exact quantity for the new pre-orders in June is currently unknown. Sony is likely to make an official pre-order date announcement via its retail partners soon.
