Sony is expected to unveil the WF-1000XM4 very soon. Rumours suggest that the new Sony TWS will launch on or before June 8. Design renders and some key features of the upcoming TWS had leaked online. The latest leak from WinFuture reveals the price and complete specs of Sony’s premium TWS. Sony’s earbuds will come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) as previously rumoured. The earbuds combined with the charging case will offer up to 24 hours of battery life with ANC enabled. It will also come with a new processor called V1. According to WinFuture, the upcoming Sony TWS will launch for EUR 279.9, which is roughly Rs 24,700. The TWS will launch in two colours – Black and Silver. There is a possibility of a Gold colour version launching later.

The render images of the upcoming Sony wireless earbuds have leaked in the past. It is more round and compact compared to its predecessor, the Sony WF-1000XM3. The design of the earbuds resembles the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. The charging pins and proximity sensor are located on the underside of the earbuds. It has a golden cylinder on the outside as previously reported. The overall size of the charging case is also smaller compared to the predecessor model.
The new report from WinFuture further reveals that the TWS will offer up to 36 hours of battery life. This is with the charging case and the earbuds combined with ANC disabled. Both combined will offer up to 24 hours of battery life with ANC enabled. The earbuds with ANC will offer eight hours of battery life on a single charge. Without ANC, they will last for up to 12 hours and another 24 hours with the case. The charging case can be recharged via a USB Type-C cable or Qi wireless charging. It will also come with the Precise Voice Pickup to recognise and react to the user’s inputs. It continues to play the music once the chat is over.
The TWS will also come with an IPX4 rating for water protection. It will come with a custom Sony V1 chip that is supposed to offer better ANC performance. Other audio features include support for LDAC and Hi-Res audio.
There is no official word on the release date. However, rumours suggest that the TWS could launch within the next couple of weeks.
