At its Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona this Sunday, HMD Global will be introducing the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone with five rear cameras. Office press renders of the smartphone were leaked online yesterday, giving us another look at the smartphone’s design. Along with the Nokia 9 PureView, HMD Global is also expected to launch a few other Android One smartphones at the event. The same source that tipped the European pricing for the Xiaomi Mi 9 has tipped us with the European prices of three upcoming Nokia smartphones as well as the flagship Sony Xperia 1.
Nokia 9 PureView to be Priced at EUR 599 in Europe
According to the tip, Nokia 9 PureView will be priced at EUR 599 in Europe, which is significantly lower than even the Samsung Galaxy S10e. This isn’t completely surprising, however, as the Nokia 9 PureView is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood. The Snapdragon 855-powered version of the Nokia 9 PureView, which is expected to be released later this year, will most definitely be priced closer to other 2019 flagship smartphones. In addition to the Nokia 9 PureView, we can confirm that the Nokia 4.2 will be priced at EUR 199 and the Nokia 1 Plus entry-level smartphone will cost just EUR 99. The Nokia 3.2 budget Android smartphone will carry a price tag of EUR 149.
Sony Xperia 1 Will Cost EUR 949 in Europe
Sony Mobile is expected to launch four new Android smartphones at the Mobile World Congress this year. The most impressive new Xperia model to debut in Barcelona will be the company’s flagship Xperia 1 with a ‘Cinema-wide’ 21:9 aspect ratio display. According to rumors, the handset will have a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, triple 12MP rear cameras, and a 3300mAh capacity battery. According to the tip that we have received, the Sony Xperia 1 will be priced at a whopping EUR 949 in the old continent. The smartphone will be offered in four color options: White, Purple, Grey, and Black.
