Before the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PC, Insomniac Games and PlayStation confirmed that Miles Morales will eventually be making its way onto the platform. Now, PlayStation has confirmed a release window for the title and it looks like PC players will be able to experience Spider-Man: Miles Morales in Fall 2022.

This means that the game is scheduled for release between the end of September and December. Spider-Man: Miles Morales was received rather well on consoles and was considered an equal to its 2018 predecessor. The game isn’t exactly a sequel to the 2018 title but simply fleshes out the character of Miles Morales and gives players a distinct protagonist to play as.

The sequel to Spider-Man (2018), Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to arrive in 2023 and will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as protagonists.

PlayStation Bolsters Its PC Catalogue with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

PlayStation’s move towards a significant presence on PC has gone down well with the fans as PC players can now finally experience franchises like Uncharted and Spider-Man on PC. PlayStation’s PC offerings have now grown quite substantially and include the likes of blockbuster hits like Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding.

The gravy train isn’t about to stop anytime soon as it has also been confirmed that The Last of Us Part I will also be coming to PC soon. This is an exciting time for gamers as it finally means console exclusivity will not be as significant a part of the industry as previously.

Xbox has been consistently moving away from locking down games to their console and bringing players over to their Xbox Game Pass platform. PlayStation could be eyeing a similar approach and the acquisition of Nixxes has been instrumental in bringing over their iconic franchises to PlayStation.
