Squid Game: The Challenge, a reality competition spinoff series based on Netflix’s wildly popular “Squid Game” series, will debut on the streaming service on November 22, 2023, as per the latest announcement by the makers.
456 real players will participate in the 10-episode competition series in search of a life-altering prize of $4.56 million. Especially noteworthy is the fact that Squid Game: The Challenge will include the biggest cast and prize pool ever offered in a reality competition series. The series, which was first announced in June 2022, pits actual participants against some of the obstacles that were featured in the South Korean show that became Netflix’s most-watched series ever within the first 91 days of its debut.
It is also to be noted that Squid Game Season 2 is already on the cards and is in pre-production phase.

Studio Lambert and The Garden are the creators of “Squid Game: The Challenge.” John Hay (The Garden), Toni Ireland (Studio Lambert), Anna Kidd, Stephen Lambert (Studio Lambert), Louise Peet, Nia Yemoh (Studio Lambert), and Stephen Yemoh (Studio Lambert) are among the executive producers. Nicola Brown (The Garden), Tim Harcourt (Studio Lambert), and John Hay (The Garden) are also on the executive producer list. Hwang Dong-hyuk is the director of the series.
