The founder of Gold Box Entertainments and the daughter of well-known Megastar Chiranjeevi, Sushmita Konidela, is an accomplished costume designer who has transitioned into production with the Telugu film Sreedevi Shoban Babu. Sridevi Shoban Babu is a family drama that she has ventured into production with. The first look poster of the movie was launched on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Shoban Babu is played by Santosh Sobhan, and Sridevi is portrayed by Gouri G. Kishan. Santosh Shoban, last seen in the 2023 film Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, is currently gearing up for the release of his Sridevi Shoban Babu on OTT, while Gouri G Kishan was last seen in the Tamil film Beginning, also from 2023. Despite receiving unfavourable reviews following its February 18 theatrical debut, Disney+ Hotstar has bought the post-theatrical streaming rights of the movie and has already declared that it would broadcast the movie on its platform on March 30, 2023.

Story
In Hyderabad, Sridevi (Gouri K Kishan) works as a fashion designer. One day, she discovers her father’s (Nagababu) humiliation by her paternal aunt Kamala (Rohini). As a result, she goes to Araku to seek revenge for her aunt. Sridevi meets Shoban Babu (Santosh Shoban) during this time and develops feelings for him. What took place next? Did Sridevi succeed in her goals? How did meeting Shoban affect her life? The main plot point of the story is this.

The audience and spectators gave the movie positive reviews upon its debut. But, the piracy group damaged its chances as it was posted online. Eleven months ago, Aditya Music India posted the Sridevi Shoban Babu teaser to YouTube. More than 2.6 million people have seen it and there are 64K likes so far. The movie has a 7.7/10 rating on IMDb.
