A year ago, Tata Sky rebranded itself to Tata Play and since then it has been offering various bundled services for its users on DTH and on mobile app. The company has partnered with the likes of MX Player, Netflix and many other known names to offer multiple OTT services to its users on app. As per the company, it currently offers 28,000 movies and web shows along with live sports from 17 streaming apps under one roof on its app. The service has now announced a new plan for sports lovers in the country. The company has announced its new sports plan in partnership with Star Sports. Here’s everything you need to know about Tata Play offering Star Sports 4K service in India.

Tata Play Now Offers Star Sports 4K Service

In a community forum of DreamDTH, it has been confirmed by a Tata Play representative that it has partnered with Star Sports to offer Star Sports 4K Service Channel on its Binge app & Binge+ Set top box. Along with the 4K Star Sports channels, Tata Play will also offer 24 OTT apps subscription. This bundle is termed as Mega Plan and costs Rs 349. The Star Sports 4K service will broadcast on Binge+ Set-top box and app on channel number 2310.

Tata Play Binge Plan Starting at Rs 59

In October last year, Tata Play announced Tata Play Binge, its OTT aggregator service for smartphone users irrespective of whether they own a Tata Play DTH connection or not. It has a nominal cost of Rs 59 per month and offers content in 12 different languages from popular OTT apps. The list of OTT apps bundled in the subscription includes Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, Voot Select, SonyLIV, MX Player, Voot Kids, Eros Now, Hungama Play, ShemarooMe, etc. It offers over 5,000 movies and 800+ shows in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and other languages.

There are Netflix combo plans available for DTH subscribers. Consumers can access Amazon Prime Video content as an add-on subscription on Binge. The Binge plan from Tata Play allows users to stream channels simultaneously on two devices.

Tata Play had already stated that it is planning to bring popular OTT platforms like Apple TV+, Lionsgate Play, Travelxp, Shorts TV, Reeldrama, Manorama Max, Tarang Plus, Koode and more to its app.
