The latest of Sony’s first-party exclusives to make its way over to PC, God of War is quite possibly the most high-profile PC release in years. Santa Monica Studios’ God of War picks up the story an undetermined amount of time after the events of God of War III and sees Kratos in the Norse realm, raising his son Atreus and carrying out his wife’s last wishes.

The game sees Kratos go up against powerful gods from the Norse Mythology and introduces a new style of combat to the series. God of War was truly a generation-defining release for the PS4 and that status is maintained on PC – with impressive visual and performance quality.

The studio proves its mettle once again as it delivers a polished, expansive, and breathtaking experience that blows everything else out of the water in a massive way.

Red Dead Redemption II is arguably Rockstar’s finest work to date and truly cements the studio’s legacy even further than it already was. The game came out in 2018 and is still one of the best-looking games you can play in 2022 – at Rs 1,599, the deal is practically a steal and is worth every penny, and then some.

Village ties up Ethan’s story in a positively satisfying and reintroduces series stalwart, Chris Redfield, back into the mix. The game was one of the finest releases of last year and is one of the best horror-action games you can pick up today.

Sniper Elite Franchise Pack – Available for Rs 431 on Steam 3000 Summer Sale

The Sniper Elite games have come to be recognized as some of the most fun shooter experiences currently out. The games put players in control of an elite soldier with sniper skills beyond par and task them with taking out specific targets in wide, open areas. Players can approach each target in their own way and use their elite sniper skills to take out targets in gruesome and satisfying ways. The Steam Sale offers the entire franchise at an extremely appealing price, making it one of the best deals in gaming right now.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition – Available for Rs 1,229 in the Steam 3000 Summer Sale

Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes remasters of 3 of the best RPGs ever in the history of video games. The franchise was instrumental in revolutionizing the Western-RPG genre and, over the years, the franchise has only further solidified its place amongst gaming royalty.

The game tells the story of Commander Shepherd as they assemble their crew and take on galaxy-ending forces and help humanity make a stand. The game has a heavy emphasis on choice and morality, as the players’ actions can drastically affect the game events in the story and alter the game state permanently. For instance, players’ actions in the first game will directly affect Mass Effect 3’s story and determine the course of the story and even the characters’ fates.

If you happen to be on the fence about purchasing a certain game this summer, you might want to head to Steam and check if the game in question is currently on sale. Right now is usually the best time to pick up PC games as the Summer Sale brings the most valuable discounts in PC gaming every year.
