Good news for gaming enthusiasts as the online game store Steam has announced its next Steam Game Festival on February 3rd. The most exciting part of the game festival is that it will provide access to playable demos of more than 500 game titles. Steam is a video game digital distribution service by Valve and the company started hosting this virtual gaming festival back in 2020 amid pandemic. The initiative was taken by the company when the industry gaming event was cancelled due to the pandemic. To showcase new game titles game developers started finding alternatives and it came out in the form of a virtual gaming festival. Here’s a closer look at the Steam Game Festival.

The company has announced the news via its official Twitter handle. In the tweet, it has confirmed that the game festival will start from February 3, 2021, until February 9, 2021. The company has also released a sneak peek of the games which are going to be showcased. Users can try action games like Runwild Entertainment’s Almighty: Kill Your Gods, in which players need to defend their island from the gargantuan monster. The game titles will also include Bloodroots, Graven, Steel Assault, Kingshunt, and more.

Players can also try strategy games like Floppy Knights by Rose City Games, The Riftbreaker, Dream Engines: Nomad Cities. The February Steam Game Festival is going to last for six days and you will be able to chat with devs and watch live streaming panels and playthroughs. The company has also listed a specific page where you can sign up for the event.
